Audience Reponse Display Green and Red LED provides response entry confirmation and is visible in reduced lighting conditions. Optionally indicates correct (Right) or incorrect (Wrong) answer choice by participant.
Power and Power Management Powered by two inexpensive AA batteries. Batteries provide sufficient power for heavy daily use over a six month period.
User Identification Each group reponse keypad has a unique address between 1 and 250 Keypads operate independently of one another, and keypad addresses are programmable via software utility. Individual pads can be password-protected to preserve configurations.
IR Technology Proprietary two-way infrared system provides reliable line of site operation between keypads and their associated OptionFinder IR Audience Reponse Base Station. Each keypad buffers the response and continues to transmit until acknowledgement is received. Responses easily bounce off walls, ceilings and other surfaces for easy point-and-click participation. IR technology means different systems can be used in an unlimited number of rooms in the same facility so long as the rooms do not share windows or connected visual open space. No FCC or International licenses are required.
